Abstract: In the 21st century, sustainability has evolved from a corporate social responsibility initiative to a central business philosophy driving innovation, competitiveness, and social progress. Sustainable business practices—rooted in environmental stewardship, social equity, and economic viability—are transforming industries and societies across multiple scales, contexts, and disciplines. This paper explores how sustainability-oriented business models influence development at local, national, and global levels.
