Abstract: This study examines the factors influencing consumer purchase decisions regarding Toyota vehicles, with particular emphasis on sustainability, brand trust, and brand preference. As consumers become increasingly aware of environmental concerns and corporate responsibility, sustainability has emerged as an important consideration in automobile purchasing. At the same time, brand trust influences perceptions of product quality, reliability, transparency, and long-term value, while brand preference reflects consumers’ personal attitudes and loyalty toward a particular automobile brand. The study explores how these three factors contribute to consumers’ purchase intentions and decision-making processes concerning Toyota vehicles. It considers consumers’ perceptions of Toyota’s environmentally responsible technologies, product performance, corporate reputation, safety, reliability, and overall brand image. The research adopts a consumer-oriented framework to assess the relationships between sustainability perceptions, brand trust, brand preference, and purchase decisions. The findings are expected to provide insights into the relative importance of environmental and brand-related factors in shaping automobile purchasing behaviour. The study may also assist automobile marketers and manufacturers in developing strategies that strengthen consumer trust, communicate sustainability initiatives effectively, and enhance long-term brand preference. Overall, the research contributes to a better understanding of contemporary consumer behaviour in the sustainable automobile market.
