Abstract: Organisations are increasingly adopting AI-based applications for recruitment, employee selection, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, workforce planning, employee engagement, and decision-making. The integration of AI into HRM has the potential to reduce administrative workload, improve the accuracy of HR processes, facilitate data-driven decisions, and enhance employee productivity. However, the increasing use of AI also creates concerns relating to job security, privacy, technological dependency, employee resistance, algorithmic bias, and the need for new digital skills. This research paper examines the influence of Artificial Intelligence in Human Resource Management on employee performance. The study adopts a descriptive and analytical approach and relies primarily on secondary sources, including academic literature, research publications, reports, and other relevant materials. The paper examines the major applications of AI in HRM and analyses their potential influence on employee productivity, efficiency, work quality, engagement, and adaptability. It also discusses the challenges associated with AI implementation and the importance of maintaining human involvement in HR decision-making. The study concludes that AI can positively influence employee performance when it is implemented as a supportive technology rather than as a complete substitute for human judgement. Effective training, transparency, ethical safeguards, employee participation, and appropriate organisational policies are essential for achieving the benefits of AI-enabled HRM.
